Bucket Collections and Online pledges

Post  Admin on Thu 16 Apr 2009, 4:08 pm

As much as those taking part in and contributing to these initiatives no doubt think they are making a difference it doesn't take a genious to work out this is just pissing in the wind.

5000 from the bucket collection and 50,000 thus far pledged online. Although i'd be interested to know whether the online pledges would materialise if they were called upon.

Personally i would not put money in the bucket, nor pledge a donation to what is ultimately a failed multi million pound business.

Going to games and exchanging money for a product is what is needed now more than ever. Ultimately it's this that will attract investors and our only salvation is investment.

Couldn't you get your bosses at Burger King to contribute?
